Electronic Music Festival Continues Where It Left Off

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues its electronic music festival, which it organized for the first time last year, this year as well. Young people showed great interest in the festival, which started in Seğmenler Park with the performance of DJ Anıl Tüm, while popular names of electronic music will meet with the people of Başkent in a park every month.

The 'Electronic Music Festival', which was organized for the first time in Turkey last year in line with the demands of the young people of the capital city of Ankara, continues this year as well.

Within the scope of the festival; The young people of Başkent, who filled the concert area established in Seğmenler Park, had a pleasant time with the successful performance of Dj Anıl Tüm.

ABB IS WITH ART AND ARTIST

ABB TV and Youtube Dj Anıl Tüm's performance, which was broadcast live on his channel, attracted great attention.

Expressing his satisfaction for the support of the Metropolitan Municipality for the support of those who love electronic music and this style in 2023, as it did last year, Tüm said:

“It is an incredibly good thing that there are events related to art and music, and that they are held in places belonging to the Metropolitan Municipality. When such events are held, recycling is very nice. The energy is very good, it will be even more beautiful. I would like to thank Ankara Metropolitan Municipality and our Mayor Mansur Yavaş.”

Stating that electronic music has been enjoyed and listened to in Ankara since the nineties, Festival Organizer Mustafa Demir said, “Ankara is also the capital of electronic music… It is very nice that we can continue electronic music with such projects. It is very nice that Mansur President also supports this. Such prestigious projects also increase the added value. We are very happy for that.”

The people of Başkent, who danced to the rhythm of electronic music in Seğmenler Park, regardless of the cool weather, also thanked ABB and Mansur Yavaş for the festival, with the following words:

Yagiz Kaan Erdemir: “Most people who love this type of music didn't have much access to it, except in certain places. Mansur Yavaş expanded this a lot by organizing events. We thank him very much for this. We can dance quite comfortably and listen to good music.”

Seray Gunyakti: “It is very nice that such events are organized for young people. There were no such events before.”

Tugce Kartal: “We thank Mansur President very much. It is a unifying element of music. Mansur President also unites people, especially young people. In this sense, we support and love him very much. May it always exist.”

Burhan Happy: “There is great admiration for the events here from all over Turkey. We are bored and tired of being stuck in closed spaces. There is nothing more perfect than the fact that everyone is together in this atmosphere. We love listening to music, I love electronic music, and I can't describe the joy of listening to it outdoors.”

Merziye Nuri: “A very good event. We get very good energy. There is a need for such events for young people in Ankara. We enjoy it a lot, let it always be like this and keep it going.”

Pelin İdilmez: “I support everything that Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş does. I think he is very successful in everything he does for Ankara… I support everything he does in terms of culture and art.”

DJ'S RHYTHM WILL RISE FROM BAŞKENT PARK

Hosted by the ABB Department of Culture and Social Affairs and with the contributions of Ankara-based electronic music group 'rave.ank', the festival will continue until April 29.

The festival program, where a representative of electronic music will meet with music lovers in the symbol parks of the Capital every month, is as follows:

  • TRIART (Botanical Park-29 April 2023)
