ABB's Training Support for Animal Breeders Continues

Within the scope of the rural development project, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, which organizes various trainings in order to improve animal husbandry in the capital and to raise awareness of producers, this time gave "Sheep Breeding Training" to small cattle breeders.

The breeders, who received theoretical training in the Polatlı Chamber of Agriculture, were then given practical training in Tatlıkuyu District.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, which has implemented projects that support agriculture and animal husbandry in the capital, continues its trainings to raise awareness of producers and breeders without slowing down.

“Sheep Breeding Training” was started for sheep and goat breeders by the Rural Services Department. In the district-based trainings that will continue, Animal Nutrition and Nutrition Diseases Specialist Veterinarian Dr. Serdar Sızmaz to the breeders; Theoretical and practical training is provided on many subjects, from the methods used to prepare the feed used, how the feed content should be, from stool examination to the tricks of feed mixes, from nail care to foot injuries.

Speaking at the training program, Head of Rural Services Department Ahmet Mekin Tuzun said:

“As ABB Rural Services Department, we strive to continue our support to the countryside and producers. We have a diesel support that we have started recently. In the continuation, our seed support will start again. Our aim is to ensure that our producers from Ankara continue production and to support you, even a little, in the economic crisis we are experiencing. Our training will continue.”

After his speech, Tuzun, Animal Nutrition and Nutrition Diseases Specialist, Veterinarian Dr. He presented a plaque of appreciation to Serdar Sızmaz.
