ABB's 'Conservatory and Fine Arts Preparatory Courses' Opened

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Women and Family Services Department started to offer "Conservatory and Fine Arts Preparatory Courses" within the Ottoman Family Life Center.

Before the first lesson of the free courses at the Ottoman Family Life Center, a mini concert was performed by Basak Tatar, Berkcan Akıncı and Gülüm Ötenel from Başkent University.

ABB Women and Family Services Department Head Dr. Serkan Yorgancılar said the following before the concert:

“Today, we are breaking new ground in our Ottoman Family Life Center. We are starting the conservatory and fine arts preparation course for the first time within the Metropolitan Municipality. 200 students in music, baglama, guitar, piano, violin, painting-sculpture and ceramics departments will attend these courses and take preparatory courses for a year.”

A total of 200 students enrolled in the courses; piano, guitar, violin and baglama in the field of instruments; In the field of visual arts, they will be trained by expert trainers in the fields of painting-sculpture, ceramics, graphic design, interior architecture and fashion design. Of the courses to be given 3 days a week and in classes of ten; Young people aged 12-24 in the instrument field and 12-18 years old in the field of visual arts will be able to benefit from the course.
