The Marmara region has been under the influence of south-westerly southwestern winds since this morning. It is expected that the Lodos will be under the influence of a storm in Istanbul from 09.00 in the morning and will continue its effect until midnight tomorrow. It is evaluated that the storm, which will reach a speed of 40 to 70 km per hour throughout Istanbul, may reach 80 km in places in Eyüp, Arnavutköy, Büyükçekmece, Silivri and Çatalca districts. In the statement made by AKOM, it was requested to be careful and cautious against tree falling, roof and signboard flying, flue gas poisoning and disruptions in sea transportation that may occur due to the southeastern storm that will continue to be effective for the next two days.

LODOS OBSTACLE TO SEA TRANSPORTATION

The southeastern region, which started to show its effect this morning, first blocked sea transportation. Bostancı-Fashion-Kadikoy-Kabataş line expeditions were carried out before they could stop by the Moda pier. Kınalıada - Burgazada - Heybeliada - Büyükada flights of the City Lines were canceled due to unfavorable weather and sea conditions until a second announcement.
