In Konya, which holds the title of providing the cheapest public transportation service in Turkey, the full ticket, which has not been increased for 1 years, has increased to 3 and a half liras as of January 4, while the student ticket, which has not been increased for five years, has become 2 and a half liras.

We transport approximately 280 thousand of our citizens to work, home and school in one day. We still provide the cheapest transportation service compared to the biggest cities of Turkey. As Konya Metropolitan Municipality, we will not increase transportation in 2022. We will continue to cover the difference from our resources and to support our fellow citizens as much as we can.”
