The second term course registration continues at Keçiören Art and Vocational Training Courses (KEÇMEK), which provides free service within the Keçiören Municipality. Registration will end on February 13, 2023.
According to the basic criteria in the applications, the trainees must have completed the age of 15 and have fulfilled the additional requirements specified by the General Directorate of Lifelong Learning. Trainee candidates can obtain detailed information from the Keçiören Municipality corporate website, 'kecmek.kecioren.bel.tr', and register for the course they prefer by registering online. Those who want to apply face-to-face can also register at 14 different centers in the district. Second semester courses at KEÇMEK start on February 6, 2023.
Saying that KEÇMEK offers vocational, artistic and academic training in many branches, Keçiören Mayor Turgut Altınok said, “We enable our trainees to socialize, acquire professions and new hobbies with our vocational training courses. We are leading the way for housewives to become active with new professions that will contribute to the household economy. In addition to directing our trainees to culture and art, we open our courses according to the demands in order to provide them with academic contributions. 143 thousand 209 people have benefited from our courses so far. Of these, 71 thousand were entitled to receive a certificate approved by the Ministry of National Education.” said.
