114 kilograms of cocaine were seized in the operation carried out in Tekirdağ Port by the Customs Enforcement teams of the Ministry of Commerce.
According to the statement made by the Ministry, as a result of the risk analysis and controls carried out by the Customs Enforcement units for the containers arriving at the ports, a large amount of narcotic drugs were seized in a container from South America that will transit through Turkey.
114 kilograms of cocaine narcotic substance, which was seized during a detailed search, in which detector dogs also participated, was seized in the container, where suspicious density was detected during the x-ray control carried out by the Customs Enforcement officers.
The Tekirdağ Chief Public Prosecutor's Office continues to investigate the incident.
