Under the auspices of the Ministry of Transport, Transport and Infrastructure, TCDD organizes a short film competition titled "It Begins When It Arrives", with the aim of conveying the social and individual importance of railways to our society, using the impressive language of the art of cinema, on all railway routes and railways in our country.
The competition is open to all participants between the ages of 18-26, amateur or professional. Train-themed films shot on the routes of YHT, mainline, regional and urban (Marmaray-Başkentray) passenger-freight trains operating in our country's railway network will be able to participate in the short film competition, where films shot after December 1, 2021 can participate.
The application deadline for the competition will be Monday, February 20, 2023 at 23.59:16. An award ceremony will be held on March 2023, 30.000 for the works that achieved a degree in the competition. With the competition, 20.000 TL for the first place, 10.000 TL for the second, 5.000 TL for the third; XNUMX TL honorable mention will be given to the fourth, fifth and sixth places.
