Gendarmerie Snipers Show Their Skills With The National Rifle

168 snipers working in the Gendarmerie Commando and Gendarmerie Special Operations battalions in Izmir competed with completely local, national weapons and ammunition.

Boran-21 Sniper Competition was held by the Gendarmerie General Command at Foça Gendarmerie Commando Training Command on 26-4 November.

4th this year in order to create a professional culture, to increase the morale, motivation and self-confidence of snipers, to share experience among expert personnel, to develop the sense of belonging of the personnel to the institution, to convey to the personnel the latest point that the Turkish defense industry has reached in the field of sniping, and to provide feedback at the user level. In the competition held, the BORA-12 Sniper Rifle, which is completely national and domestic production, and its ammunition were used.

The competition was followed by 22 observers from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, the National Intelligence Organization, the Land Forces Command, the Naval Forces Command, the Air Force Command, the Coast Guard Command, the General Directorate of Security and the Gendarmerie General Command.

Prizes were awarded to the top three personnel in the competition.
