In the first days when I started working in Seferihisar, we said the following; 'Seferihisar is a pearl in an oyster and we will unearth that pearl'. Make sure we do little. After taking office here, we took some steps like karakılçık, children's municipality, fairy tale houses. We continue these in Izmir Metropolitan Municipality. Kocaçay was the apple of our eye. Rail system and agro tourism message to Seferihisar

Stating that the investments will continue in Seferihisar, President Soyer said, “What we will do for Seferihisar will not end. Seferihisar is the apple of Izmir's eye. Seferihisar deserves much more. You will see, the heart of agro tourism, where agriculture and tourism meet, will beat in Seferihisar. We moved many of the things we started here to İzmir, but some of them were not available in Seferihisar. For example, rail systems. The time has come, my dear brothers," he said.

“Don't say it doesn't get any worse than this”

President Soyer, who gave messages of hope to the citizens in his speech, said, “Our Anatolia is an extraordinary geography that has the most fertile lands in the world and has hosted the most rooted civilizations of the world. This extraordinary geography offers us enormous potentials. We do not live a life in harmony with the opportunities this potential offers us. The whole thing explodes here. Someone is trying to maintain their existence by taking advantage of our impoverishment and our shortcomings and clinching their power. But rest easy. This is not destiny and we are not destined for it. We don't have to. We have the power to establish a much better quality of life in the lands that are home to these extraordinary civilizations. There is no reason why we shouldn't live a life like in the rich countries of the world. We are capable of much more. But for this we need a few things. We have to put aside our personal egos and personal ambitions. If we cannot restrain our ambitions and egos, we will lose more. We say we hit the bottom; make sure there is a lower, lower. Don't say it doesn't get any worse than this. We can go up. We need one foundation and that is to be shoulder to shoulder. to cooperate with each other," he said.

“Something will change, everything will change”

President Soyer said, “There are reasons that unite us much more than the reasons that separate us from each other. They hid this from us. They created policies to polarize us, to distinguish us from each other. They made us enemies with each other. We will not fall into these traps. It's over now. Those policies have come to an end; you will see. Rest assured, Turkey is walking towards that beautiful goal. We will walk together, you will see. Something will change, everything will change. There is very little left,” he said.

Very soon, we will have an urban design area in the city center where we don't have to go far from home to breathe for social life and meet nature and soil, where children play safely. Kocaçay will now be a meeting place for Seferihisar. Kocaçay was a project that the people of Seferihisar have been waiting for with excitement for many years.”
