Two new Rolls-Royce models made their debut in Istanbul today: The new expression of the Phantom, the Phantom Series II, was introduced for the first time in Turkey. The Rolls-Royce Black Badge Ghost model, which made its Turkey launch in Bodrum in the past few days, is currently on display at the Rolls-Royce Istanbul Kurucesme Showroom.
Rolls-Royce Phantom II Series
A new expression for Rolls-Royce, the Rolls-Royce Phantom II Series occupies an unrivaled position at the top of the luxury world. It includes 'light touch' visual and aesthetic improvements in line with customer requests and feedback. For example, the subtle change to the Pantheon Grille makes the Spirit of Ecstasy more prominent. While the grille is illuminated, the headlight interior details are embellished with laser-cut framed starlights. The side profile has been further developed with the new wheel design. Alternatively, the Phantom offers an elegant choice of wheels, evoking the romance of the Rolls-Royce motor cars of the 1920s. Its flamboyant interior design has hardly changed; the steering wheel has been made a little thicker.
Frank Tiemann, Director of Corporate Communications for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Central/Eastern Europe and Central Asia: “With Phantom's new wording, we have carefully protected everything our customers love in this premium and luxury product; The subtle yet meaningful enhancements reflect their changing tastes and needs.”
Hilal Aysal, General Manager of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Istanbul: “As the pinnacle model of the brand, the Phantom attracts the elite Rolls-Royce customer in Turkey. The Phantom has always been what the customer wanted it to be; not just “the best car in the world”, but the best car for them and their world“.
Black Badge Ghost
The dark expression of minimalist Rolls-Royce Ghost design, the drivetrain and chassis have been redesigned for more immediate performance. Black Badge Ghost is minimalism in the extreme. Rolls-Royce hallmarks such as the brilliant Spirit of Ecstasy and the Pantheon Grille have been turned upside down. Instead of simply painting these components, a special chrome electrolyte was added to the traditional chrome plating process, which was deposited together on the stainless steel substrate and finished with a dark finish. Without compromising the brand's effortless driving tendencies and extensive acoustic tuning, engineers created a lively driving personality that fits the visual intent of the Black Badge Ghost: the steering and suspension are more responsive, the extra horsepower and additional torque assistance deliver a more lively driving experience.
