First Aid Training for School Bus Drivers and Guides from Kahramankazan

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Health Affairs Department organized first aid awareness training for school bus drivers and assistant guide staff from Kahramankazan. In the training held at Kahramankazan Family Life Center, the participants were informed about occupational safety measures in school vehicles and first aid for bleeding, injuries and fractures.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, which has implemented many practices that prioritize public health in the capital, continues its first aid trainings for both its personnel, citizens and tradesmen.

Department of Health Affairs and Kahramankazan Chamber of Drivers organized first aid awareness training for school bus drivers and assistant guide staff.

Theoretical and practical training accompanied by experts in the field

Head of Health Affairs Department Seyfettin Aslan, Head of Kahramankazan Service Operators Association Vasıf Akdere, service drivers and assistant guide staff attended the training held at Kahramankazan Family Life Center.

In the training, which was organized as theoretical and practical in the company of expert trainers, information was given on many subjects such as first aid, crime scene assessment, first aid, first aid in bleeding, injuries, fractures, airway obstructions and occupational safety measures in school vehicles.

“We started first aid training for shuttle drivers in Kahramankazan”

Stating that they attach great importance to first aid training as Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, Head of Health Affairs Seyfettin Aslan used the following statements regarding the trainings held in Kahramankazan:

“As every living thing is valuable, the importance of first aid increases even more. For this reason, it is very important that especially the shuttle drivers are trained… For this purpose, we started first aid training for the shuttle drivers in Kahramazankazan and we believe that this training is very beneficial.”

Vasıf Akdere, President of Kahramankazan Service Operators Association, who participated in the trainings initiated for the service drivers, said, “We are very happy that the first aid awareness training organized jointly by Ankara Metropolitan Municipality and Kahramankazan Chauffeurs' Chamber was successful. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to this training.”

At the end of the program, while the certificate of participation was given to the service drivers and assistant guide personnel who participated in the training, a sticker with the words "This service personnel was given first aid awareness training" was affixed to the service vehicles.
