TİSK conducted a survey with the participation of many EYT employees in July and August. Here we saw that; More than 80 percent of our colleagues within the scope of EYT want to continue their business life, they want to receive the state pension but at the same time continue to work in their business. When we ask the employers, again, a very large proportion of the employers want to continue the employment relationship. We see a harmony here, and we want this harmony not to be lost. If you continue to employ a retired person, there will be a cost increase in SGK. Of course, this poses a risk both for the continuation of employment and for employers.”

Expressing that Minister Bilgin had given them the good news at a closed meeting in the past weeks, Akkol said, “The SSI premium difference between retirees and those trying to retire will be eliminated. Therefore, the employment relationship will continue without any additional cost to employers. This issue is very valuable not only for employers, but also for employees who want to retire and continue their working life.

Noting that if employees who will retire at the same time retire, it will cause a serious financial problem for employers, Akkol said, “Consider large enterprises and small enterprises, we are talking about a large number of retirees. If severance pay is received on the same day, there will be a financial problem. In this case, there is a possibility that the worker may be a victim, and this issue has been among our demands for a long time. Our Minister has just given the good news; He also stated that our Minister of Treasury and Finance is very supportive of this process. We have received the good news that employers will not be left alone with suitable loans from the Credit Guarantee Fund (KGF). In this sense, employers will be supported with appropriate loan interest related to severance pay.” shared his knowledge.
