A guide to the identification and placement process has been published in order to determine the students to be admitted to the science and art centers (BİLSEM) affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in the 2022-2023 academic year.

"BİLSEM Student Identification and Training Program" to be held in the 2022-2023 academic year for the BİLSEMs, which were opened to provide support training to the students who attend formal education institutions and who are diagnosed as having special talents in the fields of general mental, painting or musical talent, in order to improve their abilities and enable them to use their capacities at the highest level. According to the guide, the procedures related to the BİLSEM student identification process will be made among the students who are nominated according to their talent areas at the 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade levels.

The nomination process will be carried out by the school steering committees. school orientation commission; under the chairmanship of the school principal, vice principals, guidance teachers/psychological counselors and at least one classroom teacher from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade levels to be determined by the school principal. In the absence of any of the members who should be included in the commission, the commission will be formed with the existing members.

A maximum of 1 percent of the total number of students from the 2st, 3nd and 20rd grade levels in each grade level can be nominated for each talent area in each school. A student can be nominated from a maximum of two skill areas.

The nomination process of students according to their talent areas will be carried out between 19-30 December 2022. Students who qualify for individual assessment will be announced on 19 April 2023.
