In the statement of the Ministry, it was stated that as a result of the studies and examinations carried out, it was determined that the wastes, some of which were in sacks and some of them spilled on the field, were slag wastes generated as a result of metal recovery activities, and an investigation was initiated for companies operating in this sector.

The waste in the field was cleaned under the supervision of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and sent to licensed disposal facilities.
