Turkey's 'Sun of Art' Zeki Müren Commemorated With His Songs

Turkey's Art Sun Zeki Müren was commemorated on his 'birthday' in his hometown Bursa, with the poems of his nephew Özlem Güner.

A night to commemorate the famous artist Zeki Müren was organized by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality. Bursa residents showed great interest in the concert organized at Atatürk Congress and Culture Center. Sharing her memories of Zeki Müren with her fans, her niece Özlem Güner said, “Our house was a very pleasant house. Zeki Müren grew up in such a house. Zeki Müren and my mother. First, two sisters are expecting a baby at our grandfather's house. My mother was born first, Hacı Dede said, 'This baby has a moon face. He said, 'This child is not crying, he is singing'. Traveling to the past with Zeki Müren's songs sung by soloist Derya Özer, art lovers experienced intense emotions with Özlem Güner's memories.
