Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality continues to work intensively for citizens to benefit from transportation services throughout the city. The Metropolitan, which attaches special importance to the tram line that will extend to Kuruçeşme, carries out its works quickly. Within the scope of the project, the beam assembly of 9 spans of the tram bridge with 8 legs and 5 spans has been completed.
4 BEAM ASSEMBLY COMPLETED
Work continues on the Kuruçeşme Tram Line, which will connect Akçaray to Kuruçeşme by crossing the opposite side of the D-100 from Plajyolu Station. In the project where the superstructure, curbs and parquet productions of the side roads were made in the previous works, the superstructure works were continued and the side road superstructure productions were carried out in the neighborhood, the 9-span beam installation of the 8-foot and 5-span tram bridge was completed with a devoted work. It remains to install 100 span beams, two on the D-3 and one on the side road. A total of 100 beams were installed on the D-16, and the installation of 4 of them was carried out by transferring traffic on the D-100. The beams prepared in the workshop environment will be transported to the construction site and assembled on the ground, and the road will be closed to traffic and the assembly will be done.
