GENERAL INFORMATION
(1) Assistant Foreign Affairs Experts are career officers who are not subject to overseas assignment to be assigned to the Central Organization units of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs within the framework of their duties listed in the Foreign Affairs Expertise Regulation.
(2) The job descriptions of Assistant Foreign Experts and other matters related to the profession are recorded in the Foreign Affairs Expertise Regulation at the website www.gov.tr/mevzuat?MevzuatNo=32691&MevzuatTur=7&MevzuatTertip=5.
(3) According to the final success ranking in the entrance exam to be opened, the maximum number of positions that can be appointed with the title of Assistant Foreign Affairs Expert is 20. Appointments of those who pass the entrance exam can be made to the 8th and 9th degree positions from the general administrative services class, taking into account their acquired salary grades, if any.
(4) The written phase of the exam will be held in Ankara on February 25, 2023.
(5) Regulations not included in this announcement regarding the entrance exam are included in the Foreign Affairs Specialization Regulation.
EXAM APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
(1) In order to apply for the exam;
a) To carry the general conditions stated in Article 657 of the Civil Servants Law No. 48,
b) Not to have completed the age of 01.01.2023 as of 35 (those born on 01.01.1988 or later),
c) Having at least 80% of the departments specified in the categories in the table below, or of the courses in the curriculum of any of these departments of the domestic universities or faculties of foreign universities that provide at least four years of education at the undergraduate level, provided that the diploma equivalence is approved by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). graduating from other departments,
d) 2021. Result document regarding the scores obtained in 2022, 2023 and 2021,2022 from YDS/e-YDS in English or French (for Category IV) at minimum (B) level or international language exams whose score equivalence is determined by OSYM in 2023, XNUMX or XNUMX (The equivalents of the foreign language exam result document in YDS determined by ÖSYM as of the exam period will be evaluated.)
e) It is necessary to get the minimum score from the score types specified in the different sections of the 2022 or 2021 Public Personnel Selection Examination in the table below (Candidate candidates will apply with the highest KPSS scores. Exceeding the specified base score does not guarantee the right to participate in the exam).
(2) The Assistant Foreign Specialist Exam will be held in six different categories, and the table showing the names of the said categories, graduation groups, the required KPSS score type, the minimum KPSS score, the quota that can be assigned and the number of candidates to be accepted for the written exam is given below.
