Youth, Junior, Junior and Junior (EU) Swimming Competitions, which are included in the School Sports activity program, were completed in Kocatepe Semi-Olympic Indoor Swimming Pool. The medals were given to the top athletes by the Provincial Director Kasapoğlu.

School Sports swimming matches have ended in Afyonkarahisar. The competitions, attended by 64 athletes from 141 schools, witnessed exciting moments. The winners of the races held in 4 different categories received their medals.

Eylül Şimal Yar wins multiple medals

In women's competitions; Eylul Şimal Yar in 50 meters butterfly, freestyle, breaststroke and 100 meters breaststroke, Belinay Oruç in 100 meters freestyle, İremsu Gürel in 50 meters backstroke and Miray Selis Yavuz in 100 meters backstroke came first.

Tuna Kınacıoğlu and Recep Hazar Kirez marked the races

In men's competitions; 50 meters butterfly style Muharrem Serinler, 50 meters freestyle, 50 meters backstroke and 100 meters backstroke Tuna Kınacıoğlu, 100 meters and 200 meters freestyle Recep Hazar Kirez, 100 meters breaststroke style Berk Çağıl Pamuk, 50 meters breaststroke style Iltan Sarp Özdemir came first. .

Athletes who are successful as a result of swimming matches will fight to qualify for the Turkish Championship in group competitions.

Provincial Director İsmail Hakkı Kasapoğlu, who made statements about the School Sports swimming competitions, said: “Another competition has been completed in Afyonkarahisar, the city of sports. 64 athletes from 141 schools took part in the competitions. Hopefully, we will have very experienced young athletes in swimming and they will represent our city in the European and World Championships. We, together with our trainers, are ready to make all the sacrifices for our young athletes.”

Provincial Director Kasapoğlu concluded his speech by wishing success to the young people who will represent Afyonkarahisar in the group competitions.

Kasapoğlu, who examined the matches day by day, presented their medals to the athletes who ranked in the ceremony.
