Karaismailoğlu, thanks to this completed link; A total of 39 million TL will be saved annually, 33 million TL from time and 72 million TL from fuel; He also stated that carbon emissions will decrease by 6 thousand 527 tons.

“The traffic load on the D-400 State Road will decrease”

Minister Karaismailoğlu said that within the scope of the project, the construction works are continuing in the second part, which is 9,5 km long. Karaismailoğlu, “2. With the completion of the part; A high standard road network will be established between Tarsus - Adana - Gaziantep Highway, Mersin-Tarsus Organized Industrial Zones and D-2 State Road. Thus, the traffic load on the D-400 State Highway, where an average of 24 vehicles pass daily, will be reduced and the highway will be used more efficiently. In addition, the region will contribute to the increase of trade, agricultural activities and especially tourism opportunities. he said.

Uraloğlu: “Fast and safe transportation of Mersin to many points of Anatolia was provided by divided roads”

General Manager Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, who made a speech at the ceremony, went to Ankara, Istanbul and Southeast via Mersin's highway; He stated that fast and safe transportation to many points of Anatolia is provided by divided roads, and its systematic and sustainability is supported.

The General Manager stated that they have put into service the first part of the project, which provides the connection of Mersin-Tarsus Organized Industrial Zones to the main highway axes, and conveyed the following about the main work items of the project: 1 m of bored piles, 460 thousand tons of plantmix sub-base and foundation, 16.500 thousand tons of hot bituminous mixture, 4.000 square meters of horizontal-vertical marking, approximately 14.000 meters of guardrail were manufactured.”
