A senior appointment was made in Türkiye İş Bankası. Accordingly, Mehmet Celayir, who has held various positions at İşbank since 1996, was appointed as the Bank's Assistant General Manager.
According to the statement, the decision to appoint Mehmet Celayir, who is currently working as the Gaziantep Corporate Branch Manager of the bank, was taken at the Board of Directors meeting of İşbank.
In the statement, it was said, “After making the necessary notifications to the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency and obtaining permissions, Mehmet Celayir has been appointed as the Bank's Deputy General Manager”.
Who is Mehmet Celayir?
Mehmet Celayir graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Economics, Department of International Relations. After serving in various positions such as Branch Manager, Assistant Regional Manager, Credit Regional Manager, and Commercial Branch Manager, he was appointed as Commercial Banking Sales Manager in 1996. Mehmet Celayir has been the Gaziantep Corporate Branch Manager since July 2017.
