Mandatory Winter Tire Application Started for Commercial Vehicles Carrying Intercity Cargo and Passenger

The winter tire application, which makes it mandatory to wear winter tires on vehicles used for passenger and goods transport on intercity highways, has started.

The application, which started today, will last for 4 months and will end on April 1, 2023.

For a safe and smooth traffic, it is recommended to use winter tires not only in commercial vehicles but also in all vehicles.

With this application, it is tried to prevent vehicles that do not take precautions according to winter conditions and that do not have winter tires to block the road and to prevent people from being victimized.
