Kolin Construction Signed 190 Million USD Highway Construction Contract in Poland

Kolin İnşaat signed a contract worth PLN 17 million (USD 18,5 Million) on 28 November 2022 for the construction of approximately 822.5 km of highway on the S190 route between the cities of Zamość and Tomaszów Lubelski in Lublin, Poland.

Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs Jacek Sasin, Polish Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Raphael Weber, Polish Highways (GDDKiA) Regional Director Miroslaw Czech and government officials attended the signing ceremony.

The project will form the backbone of the high-capacity roads in the Lubelskie Voivodeship, connecting the country's major economic centers with the largest cities of eastern Poland. The project includes four overpasses, four bridges, seven viaducts, a footbridge and three crossings for large and medium-sized animals.

Nine companies submitted bids for the tender. The bidders and their bids were as follows.

6. Intercor Technical Services Company – approximately PLN 955,9 million 
7. Aldesa Construcciones Polska (leader), Aldesa Construcciones (partner) consortium – approximately PLN 969,8 million
