How Much is KYK Scholarship and Student Loan Amount?

Youth and Sports Minister Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu announced that the results of the '2022-2023 GSB Scholarship and Education Loan', which concern hundreds of thousands of students, have been announced.

Minister Kasapoğlu announced the announcement of the 2022-2023 GSB Scholarship and Student Loan results through a live broadcast on his social media account. Reminding the 47 percent increase in loan and scholarship fees as a result of the good news given by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Minister Kasapoğlu said, “Thus, the amount paid for undergraduates varies from 850 lira to 1250 lira, for master's degree from 1700 lira to 2 thousand 500 lira, the amount paid for PhD. On the other hand, it increased from 2 thousand 550 liras to 3 thousand 750 liras. The payments you will receive from January will be at these levels. I wish all our young people good luck in our new arrangement," he said.

What is KYK Student Loan?

It is a loan that does not have compulsory service obligation and is given during the normal education of the higher education institutions they attend in order to financially support Turkish citizens who are studying higher education and to facilitate their social and cultural development. Student loan debt; It is determined by adding the amount to be calculated by applying the increases in the Domestic Producer Price Index of the Turkish Statistical Institute to the amounts given to the student during his normal education.
