Gendarmerie General Command reported that 63 terrorists were neutralized in a month. According to the statement made by the Command, operations were carried out on 1-30 November within the scope of the fight against terrorism in the area of responsibility of the Gendarmerie.
In the operations, 63 terrorists were neutralized, 128 firearms, 32 thousand 341 ammunition, 374 kilograms of explosives, 138 explosives and 386 important materials were seized.
In road control and search and scanning activities, 5 million 719 thousand 923 vehicles and 10 million 782 thousand 583 people were questioned, and 1005 vehicles were processed.
Within the scope of the interrogations, 28 thousand 217 wanted people were caught, 422 adults and 87 children were found missing.
177 weapons, 1603 ammunition, 155 thousand 400 grams of drugs, 4 thousand 839 drug pills, 1104 root cannabis, smuggled 139 thousand 31 packs of cigarettes, 24 thousand 418 liters of fuel, 252 mobile phones, 5 thousand 316 liters of alcohol and 364 commodities. 1203 historical artifacts were seized.
1453 Anti-Smuggling Operation
On the other hand, 1453 operations were organized for the studies on the fight against smuggling and organized crime.
In this context, 2 of the 391 thousand 120 suspects were arrested.
During the operations, 108 thousand 641 liters of fuel oil, 137 thousand 506 liters of liquor, 131 thousand 493 packs of cigarettes, 13 long-barreled guns, 281 pistols, 190 shotguns and 6 thousand 50 cartridges were seized.
170 people arrested in drug operations
In the operations organized by the Gendarmerie within the scope of the fight against drugs, 2 incidents were intervened, and 418 of the 3 suspects were arrested.
In this context, 8 million 919 thousand 880 grams of cannabis, 1 million 542 thousand 950 grams of skunk, 62 thousand 170 grams of heroin, 10 thousand 990 grams of cocaine, 195 thousand 790 grams of methamphetamine, 2 thousand 590 grams of bonsai, 107 thousand 800 root skunks and 243 444 root cannabis were seized.
