All institutions and organizations rushed to work to heal the wounds of the local people, who were damaged by the flood due to the heavy rain that was effective in the region. On the one hand, vehicles that were dragged and destroyed in the flood were towed, mud-filled roads and workplaces were cleaned with the cooperation of the state and citizens.

Soldiers at the Provincial Gendarmerie Command came to the aid of our citizens affected by the flood. The teams assisted in the cleaning works of those whose homes and workplaces were flooded.

Minister Süleyman Soylu visited the soldiers in the region and received information about the works.

Stating that as the state, they are always with the citizens and that all institutions and organizations work in cooperation in such disasters, Minister Soylu said, “Currently, 350 Gendarmerie are working here. It helps both on the roads and in cleaning the belongings of the citizens that have sunk into the water and mud. Volunteers work on one side and our Gendarmerie on the other. Everyone's got their hands on it. The issue should not be viewed as a state issue, but as a support of brother to brother." he said.

Minister Soylu stated that everyone is working with great effort and that the wounds will be healed as soon as possible.

Noting that they have increased the number of security forces in the district, Minister Soylu said, “Our police are also here. On such days, tradesmen sometimes have to leave their shops open, so street security must be ensured in the best way possible.” said.

Our Soldiers Came to Help Like Our Sons

Oğuz Coşkun, who has been a tradesman in the district for 20 years, said that they were in for a bad surprise when they came to the shop in the morning.

Expressing that they have experienced such a disaster for the first time, Coşkun emphasized that everyone is working hard to eliminate their grievances.

Dudu Coşkun, one of the tradesmen, also thanked the soldiers who helped them.

Explaining that the soldiers support them like their sons, Coşkun said, “Our soldiers are always with us when something happens to us. Thankfully no casualties. We joined hands with our soldiers and our people. May God never show such a disaster again. I hope our soldiers will be able to reunite with their hometowns and families without even bleeding from their noses." used the phrase.

Rukiye Ergül, who runs a shoe shop, stated that the workplace was filled with water and caused great damage.

Ergül said, “We have been here for 20 years, we have never experienced anything like this before. All the shoes in the shop remained in the water and mud. Thanks to them, our soldiers rushed to help like our children. They are fighting hard.” made a statement.
