During the operations at Sarp and Habur Customs Gates and Antalya Airport, 905 electronic cigarette parts and parts and 6 packages of electronic cigarette tobacco were seized.

According to the statement made by the Ministry of Commerce, Customs Enforcement teams carried out operations against tobacco smugglers at Sarp and Habur Customs Gates and Antalya Airport.

As a result of the teams' risk analysis and intelligence studies, field patrols and routine controls, the persons and vehicles identified as suspicious were taken under control by the teams.

The goods and vehicles of the people who were closely followed were x-rayed at the customs control points. Upon detection of suspicious densities as a result of the scanning, detailed control was carried out.

As a result of the searches, 810 electronic cigarette components and parts and 905 packages of electronic cigarette tobacco worth approximately 6 thousand Turkish Liras were seized. Electronic cigarettes and accessories and electronic cigarette cartridges were seized.

The investigation against the suspects continues.
