CLPA Turkey Manager Tolga Bizel, who took place as a speaker at the 16th Istanbul Informatics Congress, drew attention to the big data in the production sector. CLPA (CC-Link Partner Association), which is advancing with the aim of opening its industrial CC-Link network doors to the world, was organized by the Turkish Informatics Association (TBD) Istanbul branch on November 29 at Bahçeşehir University South Campus with the theme of "The Age of Sustainable Technologies, Society That Can Produce Its Own Resources". He participated in the 16th Istanbul Informatics Congress. “How will a world addicted to digital data be managed? Is it possible with data science and artificial intelligence?” CLPA Turkey Manager Tolga Bizel, who was among the panelists in the panel on the theme, emphasized that a secure and fast infrastructure is needed for the collection, sharing and processing of big data in smart factories.

The 16th Istanbul Informatics Congress, hosted by the Istanbul branch of the Turkish Informatics Association (TBD), held with the theme of “The Age of Sustainable Technologies, Society That Can Produce Its Own Resources” was held on 29 November at Bahçeşehir University South Campus. CLPA (CC-Link Partner Association), which operates to spread the industrial communication and control network CC-Link around the world, took its place among the sponsors of the congress. Moderated by TOBB Turkey Software Assembly President Ertan Barut, “How will a world addicted to digital data be managed? Is it possible with data science and artificial intelligence?” panel on the subject; CLPA Turkey Manager Tolga Bizel, Technohouse Software Projects Manager Kemal Demir, Bilig OpEx Founding Partner Tuluğ Siyahi and TBD Istanbul Deputy Chairman of the Board Lawyer Ceyda Cimili Akaydın attended as speakers.

“Large volumes of data must be processed quickly and securely in smart factories”

Pointing out that the collection, sharing and processing of big data has become critically important in the Industry 4.0 process, CLPA Turkey Manager Tolga Bizel said, “In smart factories, communication data needs to be managed quickly and reliably. In these factories, where machines can communicate with each other, a lot of data is created in real time by many devices and shared to provide a transparent display of processes. Bandwidth plays an important role in the success of this process. At this point, CC-Link IE TSN, the world's first open industrial network that utilizes CLPA's Time Sensitive Network (TSN-Time Sensitive Network) technology, comes into play. With CC-Link IE TSN technology, businesses can process large volumes of data generated by modern Industry 4.0 applications, and as a result, take their network reliability, productivity and quality assurance strategies to the next level. Thanks to this new generation technology, which is up to 100 times faster than industrial communication systems that can communicate with 10 megabits per second, it becomes easier to fulfill the requirements of Industry 4.0. Since it provides fast and secure data exchange, the right strategic moves can be made and the productivity level increases. In this way, the competitiveness of the industrialists also increases.”
