According to the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Wholesale Market and Fish Market data, the people of the Capital consumed the most tangerines, tomatoes and anchovies in November. Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Wholesale Market and Fish Market announced the data on the most consumed fruit, vegetable and fish species in November. The residents of the capital mostly consumed tangerines from winter fruits, tomatoes from vegetables and anchovies from fish.

In November, the most consumed fruit was tangerine with a sales of 9 thousand 47 tons, while banana was the second with a sales of 3 thousand 670 tons, and white grapes became the third with a sales of 3 thousand 389 tons. These fruits were followed by lemons with 2 tons of sales, apples with 470 tons of sales and oranges with 2 tons of sales.

The most consumed vegetable was tomato with 5 thousand 625 tons. After the tomato in the first place, potatoes took the second place with 5 thousand 273 tons and carrots took the third place with 2 thousand 667 tons. Cucumber was the fourth with 2 tons of sales, eggplant was the fifth with 429 tons of sales, and white cabbage was the sixth most consumed vegetable with 2 tons of sales.

ANCHOVY

The activity in the stalls of the Fish Market, which was built and put back into service by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, continued in November as well.

According to the data of Fish Market, anchovy became the champion of November with 1404 tons of sales. Anchovy was followed by bonito with 816 tons of sales, sardines with 226 tons of sales, shad with 115 tons of sales, and tombik with 35 tons of sales.
