The 3rd International Cinema Symposium will be held on 8-12 May 2023

The 3rd International Cinema Symposium, organized by the Near East University Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema and the Center for Communication Studies (İLAMER), will be held on 8-12 May 2023 with the theme of “Culture-Identity-Ideology”. Important artists and academics from the world's leading communication and cinema schools will be hosted as invited speakers at the symposium to be organized with the support of more than fifty universities, official institutions and cinema institutions from the Republic of Turkey, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and the Turkish Republics. Among the guests of the Cinema Symposium this year, Prof. from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Dr. Belkıs Ayhan Tarhan, Prof. from Turkey. This year's theme: Culture, Identity and Ideology

Turkish and English papers will be presented at the 3rd International Cinema Symposium, where the Organizing Committee will feature prominent names from distinguished universities of Turkey and the TRNC. In the symposium, which will be organized in a hybrid form, papers from science branches other than cinema will be accepted, provided that they are related to this year's theme, which is determined as "Culture, Identity, Ideology".
