The 2022 China-Arab Media Cooperation Forum was held in Riyadh on 5 December. The forum was jointly organized by the China Media Group (CMG) and the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Information.
The theme of the forum was “Strengthening exchange and mutual learning and driving the building of a Sino-Arab community with a common future”. More than 22 guests, including government officials, media outlets, experts and academics from China and 150 Arab countries, participated in the forum online and offline.
Majid Bin Abdullah al-Kasabi, Saudi Arabian Minister of Commerce and Acting Minister of Information, stated that Arab countries see China as a reliable partner for joint development in various fields and are ready to strengthen cultural exchange with China and carry out development in all fields through the forum.
CMG Chairman Shen Haixiong stated that the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CCP) gave a strong impetus to the friendly cooperation between China and other countries, and the promotion of the common values of the world and all humanity.
Shen Haixiong stated that on the occasion of this forum, they will deepen exchanges and dialogues with all segments of society in Arab countries, implement global development and global security initiatives, and help bring the Sino-Arab strategic partnership to a higher level.
