2022-2023 Ski Season Has Been Opened at Erciyes Ski Center

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, Kayseri Erciyes A.Ş., Turkey's first professional mountain management company with world-class facilities. Erciyes Ski Center, managed by Erciyes Ski Center, stated that the ski season has opened and invited ski lovers to Erciyes.

The 2022-2023 Ski Season has been opened in Erciyes Ski Center, which is one of the few ski centers in the world and in Turkey.

THE FIRST SKI WITH TURKISH FLAGS

In the event held at Tekir Kapı Gondola Upper Station, the Turkish Flag was unfurled by the ski lovers and the first ski of the season was made.

Stating that the 2022-2023 Ski Season has opened in Erciyes Ski Center, the symbol of Kayseri, the pearl of Turkey, the winter tourism center, Mayor Büyükkılıç pointed out that Erciyes Ski Center is a unique center for world-class professional skiers.

Metropolitan Mayor Dr. Inviting all ski lovers to Erciyes, Memduh Büyükkılıç said, “This majestic mountain, 29 million square meters of which is entirely owned by the municipality and hosted 2 million visitors last year, also contributes significantly to the country's economy with 100 million dollars a year. The chairlift, with its heated and ventilated comfort, has 19 mechanical facilities, 41 ski tracks and 130 kilometers of pistes, and is an environment appreciated and preferred by skiers, which is described as powder snow. Our Erciyes is waiting for you ski lovers”.

“WE CONTINUE FROM WHERE WE LEFT”

Stating that Erciyes has made the biggest contribution to the ski industry, Büyükkılıç said, “Our Erciyes mountain will host millions of visitors, both from abroad and domestically, with charter flights this year. We continue exactly where we left off. We opened the season in Erciyes Mountain. We are waiting for our ski lovers to the slopes.”

President Büyükkılıç emphasized that the Erciyes Ski Center, which he describes as the flagship of Kayseri in the field of tourism, provides a great gain both for the Cappadocia region, Kayseri and Turkey, and added that they will continue to promote Erciyes to the whole world.
