The work carried out by the Ministry of Interior with the principle of zero tolerance in the fight against domestic violence and violence against women continues at full speed.

In this context, 4 million 292 thousand 64 women downloaded the Women's Support (KADES) application to their smart phones. Police and Gendarmerie teams responded immediately to 559 reports received through the application.

Awareness and Awareness Training for 6 Million Men

In addition, within the scope of the KADINA EL KAL-KA-MAZ project launched in April 2022, the target was exceeded in the awareness raising and awareness training planned for 5 million men. Within the scope of the project, 6 million 377 thousand 116 male citizens have been reached so far. In addition, within the scope of awareness and awareness training activities; 109 thousand posters/banners were hung, 2 million 82 thousand brochures were distributed.

Electronic Clamp Application

With the electronic handcuff center established within the body of our Ministry of Security and Emergency Coordination Center (GAMER), people who have an injunction order are followed on a 7/24 basis, preventing possible violent incidents.

While 775 follow-ups were made actively in the Electronic Clamp Center, a total of 2 thousand 95 people were followed with 2 thousand 870 cases that were followed up.

Femicides Decreased 11% This Year

As a result of the efforts aimed at 'zero tolerance' and zero loss of life in the fight against domestic violence and violence against women, the number of women who lost their lives this year (as of November 21) decreased by 11 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
