Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD) General Manager Hasan Pezük attended the 30th International Union of Railways Middle East Regional Board (UIC RAME) Meeting in Abu Dhabi, the Capital of the United Arab Emirates. At the meeting where the administrative issues of the Board were discussed, views were also exchanged on the budget foreseen for the years 2023-2025.
TCDD General Manager and RAME President Hasan Pezük met with railway stakeholders at the UIC RAME Meeting. The meeting, chaired by General Manager Hasan Pezük, was attended by TCDD Technical General Manager Mustafa Özdöner, UIC General Manager François Davenne, United Arab Emirates Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure Land Transport Director Saif Ghubash, Iranian Railways Deputy General Manager Ashoori, Saudi Arabian Railways Vice President for Joint Services Alomair. Salah joined.
Administrative issues were discussed by the member states at the meeting held in Abu Dhabi. Membership requests of United Arab Emirates Railway Company Etihad Rail and Oman Railway Company Oman Rail, which want to become members of UIC and RAME, were approved, Etihad Rail and Oman Rail representatives made presentations introducing their institutions.
Following the presentations, the RAME budget was reviewed by the members and views were exchanged on the budget foreseen for the years 2023-2025.
Ekaterina Kozyreva, President of IEC International Company, who undertook the creation of the UIC RAME Vision 2050 document, shared the final draft of the document with the members.
In addition to the presentations of other RAME members, a comprehensive presentation on TCDD Technical activities was made within the scope of the agenda item of the meeting where RAME members gave information about themselves.
The meeting, where the members recorded all the developments, ended with the closing speech of General Manager Hasan Pezük.
