Expressing that they have allocated 352 quotas to public institutions and organizations in order to send their personnel abroad for graduate and internship purposes, President Erdoğan stated that they will ensure that these positions opened to support the career development of public personnel abroad are used on the basis of merit.

Explaining that the candidates can apply for these positions through the career gate integrated into the electronic state system, President Erdoğan said that the candidates can follow the evaluation processes in a transparent manner.

Stating that they continue to reap the fruits of their efforts to strengthen vocational education, President Erdoğan said:

“Thank God, the occupancy rate of our vocational high schools has approached 100 percent. These high schools are now directed not by the lowest of the system, but by the most distinguished students. This year, the revolving fund production of our vocational high schools has already reached 1 billion 650 million liras, and a significant part of the income has been transferred to our students and teachers. Thanks to the transformation we initiated, the number of apprentices and journeymen in our country increased from 159 thousand to 1 million 1 thousand within a year. Thus, we have covered a significant distance in meeting the need for apprentices, journeymen and masters, which is the biggest problem of our industry.”
