Expert and Headteacher Exam Results Announced

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced the number of teachers who were entitled to receive the title of expert and head teacher at the dinner he organized in honor of teachers on the occasion of November 24, Teachers' Day. President Erdoğan gave the good news that a total of 516 teachers, including those exempted from the exam, were entitled to become specialist teachers and 974 specialist teachers to become head teachers.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who hosted the Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer and the representatives of 24 provinces at the Presidential Complex on the 81th of November Teachers' Day, gave the teachers good news about the career ladder exam.

Sharing information on the results of the Teaching Career Stages Written Exam, President Erdoğan said:

“We have designed and implemented every reform and every decision regarding education, after long consultations, by calculating the pros and cons. We created the "Teaching Profession Law", which is the dream of our teachers for sixty years, as a result of this approach. Our aim with this law; It was to improve your financial and social rights while building a career system that will contribute to your professional development for you. As soon as the law came into force, someone started provoking our teachers, without looking at the front or back of the gains it brought. They tried to cause strife between our state and our teachers, all with false or false information. They wanted to prevent our teachers from benefiting from the rights brought by the Law by calling for boycotts, but our teachers did not come to this dirty trick. Our teachers, who took care of the historical opportunity offered to them by our state, also gave the necessary answer to the political brokers.”

Stating that 95 percent of the teachers who meet the requirements apply to the career system, Erdoğan announced that 99 percent of the teachers who apply have completed their training and took the exam.

Erdoğan continued his words as follows: “On the other hand, our 94 thousand 863 teachers who had postgraduate education were exempted from the exam. From here, I would like to thank all our teachers who protect their careers and future. Today, I would like to share with you the number of teachers who are entitled to receive the title of specialist and head teacher under the law. Of the 432 thousand 672 teachers who applied for the specialist teacher exam, 422 thousand 368 were successful in the exam. A total of 516 thousand 974 teachers, including those who were exempted, earned the right to become specialist teachers. 68 thousand 67 of our 66 thousand 422 specialist teachers who applied for the head teacher exam were successful in the exam. 257 specialist teachers were exempted from the exam because they completed their doctoral education. Thus, 66 expert teachers earned the right to become head teachers. I congratulate our expert teachers and head teachers both for not giving credit to provocations and for their outstanding success.”
