The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure stated that they continue international initiatives to improve road transport, which is one of the vital points of exports, and stated that in 2022, the number of additional transit documents received from 21 different countries exceeded 320 thousand, and the total number of transit documents exceeded 1.6 million.

The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure made a statement about the road transport documents. Emphasizing that the changes in the supply chain along with the epidemic strengthened Turkey's position in world trade, it was noted that the increase in trade also increased the demand for the road transport sector.

Compared to the period before the epidemic, the number of companies that received authorization certificates from the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure to carry out international transportation activities increased by 2022 percent as of November 50. The number of registered vehicles in companies increased by 55 percent on average.

"While our country's exports broke a record with 2021 billion dollars in 225, the number of export transports in international road transport exceeded 1.5 million and played an important role in this," the statement said, adding that exports continued to increase steadily this year. The statement, which noted that there was a 10 percent increase in international road transport in the first 15 months of this year, continued as follows:

“As a result of the recent initiatives carried out by our Ministry, the solution of the transit document problem with countries such as Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia and Hungary in transportation to Europe and with Russia, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan in transportation to Asia paved the way for Turkish transporters.
