IF Wedding Fashion İzmir Opens Its Doors for the 16th Time

IF Wedding Fashion İzmir – Wedding Dress, Suit and Evening Wear Fair opens its doors for the 22th time on 25-2022 November 16 in Fuarizmir. IF Wedding Fashion İzmir will continue to be the gateway to the bridal gown, groom's suit and evening dress industry, with its commercial agreements, events that shape fashion and design, and three-day fashion shows with the participation of famous names.

IF Wedding Fashion İzmir, one of the biggest fashion fairs in Europe, will open its doors for the 16th time this year with exhibitors and visitors from all over the world, in Izmir, the capital of fashion and bridal gowns. IF Wedding Fashion İzmir – Wedding Dress, Suit and Evening Dress Fair, hosted by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality and organized by İZFAŞ in partnership with Aegean Clothing Manufacturers Association, grew even more this year due to the intense interest of sector representatives. IF Wedding Fashion İzmir, whose number of participants increased compared to last year and which has grown by approximately 30 percent in terms of surface area, will be held between 50-22 November 25 in Halls A and B with a total area of ​​2022 thousand square meters in Fuarizmir. Due to the intense interest of the industry, which achieved pre-pandemic figures in sales, turnover and exports this season, the fair is full, and there is a great interest in domestic and international procurement committee organizations. As in previous years, IF Wedding will make a great contribution to the production, economy and exports of both İzmir and the country this year.

10 participants from Turkey and 222 countries

This year, a total of 10 exhibitors from different cities of Turkey and 222 countries, including America, Germany, Canada, Hong Kong, operating in the product groups of evening dresses, wedding dresses, groom suits, accessories and children's wear are taking part in the fair. The fair is expected to host close to 100 foreign visitors from more than 3 countries around the world, as well as thousands of domestic professional visitors. Due to the intense interest of participants, the fair is planned to be held in 3 halls next year.

18 fashion shows will be held

Combining fashion and design, IF Wedding Fashion İzmir will continue to offer opportunities to the industry's leading professionals for the 16th time. IF Wedding Fashion İzmir, where the 2023 collections will be exhibited for the first time, will dazzle with its glittering catwalks where the designs of famous brands and young talents will take place, accompanied by valuable models. Within the scope of the fair, 18 fashion shows will be held in three days. The designers participating in the fair will exhibit their wedding dress and evening dress collections in the area specially created for them. The "Performance Fashion Show" of Hasancan Meşelik, who won an award last year in the Wedding Dress Design Competition, which gives designer candidates the opportunity to exhibit their first fashion shows in their professional lives, will also be presented to the taste of fashion designers, exhibitors and visitors.

Winners are announced in the Wedding Dress Design Contest

The winners of the 13 finalists of the 15th Wedding Dress Design Competition held within the scope of the fair will be announced at the gala fashion show to be held on the opening day. This year, the winners of the competition held with the theme of “Modaverse” in order to reveal the designs of the new age bearing the traces of traditional fashion will win special awards as well as entering the sector with firm steps.
