President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan inaugurated giant projects worth 25 billion liras in Gaziantep, including the 3-kilometer-long Gaziray project and the 35-storey Yeşilvadi Köprülü Junction. President Announced: Gaziray Will Be Free Until the New Year!
I came to Gaziantep today to share the joy of talking with you, chatting with you, and the official opening of the works and services we have brought to our city. We are officially inaugurating 14 factories with a budget of 100 billion 99 million TL, which were brought to our country by the private sector, with 15 works with a budget of 905 billion 70 million TL, which were completed by the public. I wish that 30 facilities with a total investment amount of 5 billion 169 million TL will be beneficial for our city and our country. At the top of our opening list is Gaziray, which is an investment of 10 billion liras with today's figures. We came here with Gaziray. It is a project that will contribute greatly to meeting the urban transportation needs of Gaziantep, which develops and grows with its route of 25,5 kilometers in length. It has 16 stations. I believe that the difficulties experienced in the process of bringing Gaziray, which is a truly historical investment with 3 tunnels, 1 bridge, 12 underpasses and overpasses, to our city are worth the work that has emerged. Now we're here with him. We came here with Gaziray. Our Metropolitan Municipality arranged the 5 kilometer section of Gaziray, which passes underground, as a very beautiful park with its sports and game units, ornamental pools, lighting and green areas. I wish this beautiful park, which covers an area of 200 thousand square meters with its parking lot, bicycle paths and sidewalks, to be beneficial for our city.
We provided agricultural support to our farmers in the amount of 3 and a half billion liras in total. When we came to power, the number of active insurance holders, which was 169 thousand, increased to over 533 thousand. I wish Gaziray and other projects good luck. My love and respect to all of you.
