Erkan Petekkaya (born 11 December 1970, Elazig) is a Turkish actor. Petekkaya, who was born in Elazig despite being from Diyarbakir, spent his childhood on the Anatolian side of Istanbul. He attended Mehmet Karamancı Primary School, then Bostancı Secondary School and Fenerbahçe High School. Having won Anadolu University State Conservatory, Petekkaya has been a permanent actor in state theaters since 1993. He continued his career in the television world, where he met with camera jokes in 1994, with the series Güzel Günler in 1998. In 1999, he appeared in front of the camera for the TV series Aynalı Tahir.
Petekkaya, who has been involved in Aşkına Bandit, Bedel, Japanese Bride and Stone Heart projects, also plays a role in comedy with the character of "Bülent" in the TV series Serseri, which was screened on Kanal D between 2003-2004. In 2005, he continued to appear on the screens with the Dog series, and he was nominated for the "Best Actor" at the Beyaz İnci Television Awards for his character as Yılmaz.
