Dr., who was a senator candidate from the Republican Party in the Congressional midterm elections in the USA and supported by former President Donald Trump. Mehmet Öz lost to his Democratic opponent, John Fetterman.

In the USA, the people went to the polls for the entire 435-seat House of Representatives and 100 seats in the 35-seat Senate. 6 Republicans and 29 Democrats who did not complete their 36-year term in the Senate did not enter the elections.

While the vote counting continues in the key states in the Congressional midterm elections in the USA, the Republican Party senator candidate in Pennsylvania, Dr. Mehmet Öz's Democratic opponent, John Fetterman, declared his victory.

While NBC News announced that Fetterman's victory was finalized at the point reached in the count, the Democratic politician shared the following on his Twitter account:

“It's official. I'll be the next senator from Pennsylvania. We trusted the people of Pennsylvania, and you didn't let us down. I will not let you down either. Thank you."
