The Communiqué Amending the General Communiqué on National Real Estate, prepared by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, was published in the Official Gazette.
With the amendment made in the communiqué, which determines the procedures and principles regarding the establishment of easement right or granting usage permission for the purpose of producing unlicensed electricity based on renewable energy resources on the treasury immovables, institutions and organizations with legal personality established by special laws and more than 50 percent of their capital shall be transferred to the Turkish Wealth Fund or the Treasury. It has been made possible to establish an easement right or give permission to use it for the purpose of producing unlicensed electricity based on renewable energy sources.
With the Communiqué, “The letter of invitation to the connection agreement is delivered to the administration by the owner of the preliminary permit within 30 days from the date of registration of the preliminary permit agreement with the notary public.” "The Ministry is authorized to extend this period up to three times." provision has been added. Thus, investors were given the opportunity to give additional time to make connection agreements with electricity distribution companies.
