CAMPEX Camping Caravan and Outdoor Sports Fair Opened

Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin, in her speech at the CAMPEX Camping Caravan and Outdoor Sports Fair, stated that they showed a strong will to bring the best caravan park area in Gaziantep to nature lovers and said, “Alleben Pond is a boutique and unique area for caravan lovers. we built.” said.

The opening ceremony of the CAMPEX Camp Caravan and Outdoor Sports Fair, which is the first and only natural life concept fair of the region, with the support of Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality in cooperation with Gaziantep Chamber of Industry and Akort Fair Organization, took place at the Middle East Fair Center.

Metropolitan Mayor Fatma Şahin, in her speech at the opening ceremony of CAMPEX Fair, which brings together caravan lovers from all over the world and Turkey, said that it is necessary to meet the social demand by catching the spirit of the time.

ŞAHİN: WE RELEASED A STRONG WILL FOR CARAVAN PARK

Mentioning that if the city economy is not managed correctly, much bigger problems may be faced tomorrow, President Şahin said:

“We realized that people are moving away from traditional tourism and not preferring big hotels anymore. People now want to spend time in more boutique, more unique areas. We started to work on making the most beautiful trailer park. We immediately came together with the federation and talked about how to create a model. We got information about the intricacies and details of the job. We revealed our work in a short period of 3 months. The point we have arrived at is a very important point. We must do the best of everything with the Gaziantep Model. We must be the leader and the leader by doing the best. It's in our genetic codes. We did the best we could from caravan park construction. Tomorrow, of course, needs and demands may change, tomorrow there may be other demands. But we have demonstrated a strong will to do our best.

At the CAMPEX Fair, which brings together professional campers and nature lovers who want to have a camping experience, the stand, where the model design of the new caravan park built by the Metropolitan Municipality in Alleben Pond, was introduced, attracted attention from the visitors.

Regarding the caravan park, which was put into service in the area where green meets blue in the stand belonging to the Metropolitan; While information was given about daily, weekly and monthly accommodation, places such as cafes, kitchens and terraces, which are among the common areas, were explained to the visitors.

The ceremony was attended by Gaziantep Governor Davut Gül, Gaziantep Chamber of Industry Chairman Adnan Ünverdi, Gaziantep Provincial Culture and Tourism Director Bülent Öztürk, district mayors, Silk Road Development Agency and KOSGEB managers as well as Metropolitan Mayor Fatma Şahin.
