A contract was signed for the export of the ALKAR mortar system, which was developed by ASELSAN with domestic resources. The development was shared at the Land Systems Seminar, which was held for the fifth time this year. In this context, the name of the exported country was not disclosed. It was stated that export activities are carried out together with Nurol and BMC.
In addition, it was stated that the work continues for the delivery of the fixed version of the ALKAR mortar system to the Land Forces Command. In 2021, the acceptance inspection activities of 1 ALKAR 120 mm Mortar Weapon System integrated into the TTZA (Tactical Wheeled Armored Vehicle) mortar vehicle were completed and delivered.
