A National Women's Handball Team's Play-Off Opponent Was Serbia

In the play-off round of the 2023 IHF World Championship European Qualifications, Serbia became the opponent of the A National Women's Handball Team.

According to the statement made by the Turkish Handball Federation (THF), the 2023 IHF World Championship European Qualification play-off round draws were drawn in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. Participating in the draw from the second bag, the rival of the A National Women's Handball Team was Serbia.

While the first match will be hosted by the National Team, the play-off first legs will be played on 7/8 April and the return legs will be played on 11/12 April 2023. The 10 teams that pass the round will participate in the World Championship.

The 2023 IHF World Women's Handball Championship will be organized by the International Handball Federation for the 26th time in November 2023, jointly hosted by Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
