Project owners who ranked in the 'Turkey Moon Bases National Idea Competition', prepared in cooperation with Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, Bursa Technical University, Provincial Directorate of National Education and Gökmen Space and Aviation Center, were awarded with a ceremony.
The Metropolitan Municipality signed a special study together with Bursa Technical University, Provincial Directorate of National Education and Gökmen Space and Aviation Center (GUHEM) in order to 'raise awareness about space'. The 'Turkey Moon Bases National Ideas Competition', which is open to the ideas of young people about the architecture of the future, and where the issues of space architecture and extraterrestrial urbanism are discussed, was completed with the intense participation of young people. In the competition, where the subjects of "External Planet Urbanism and Space Architecture" were discussed, with a monetary award of 140 thousand TL in total, visionary thinking in the newly developing field of activity on environment, resource, living and research space opportunities, design and construction in the fields of future-horizon vision, project design and national technology move. and product delivery. The competition held in three different categories; A total of 19 teams participated, 9 in the 'university student' category, 13 in the 'high school student' category and 41 in the 'professional category'.
The award ceremony of the competition held in GUHEM was attended by Deputy Mayor of Metropolitan Municipality Ahmet Yıldız, Rector of Bursa Technical University Prof. Dr. Arif Karademir, Provincial Director of National Education Serkan Gür, BTSO Board Member Erol Kılıç and students attended.
