The opening of İsmet Paşa Life Center, Muratpaşa Indoor Swimming Pool and Underground Car Park in Bayrampaşa; IMM President Ekrem İmamoğlu and Bayrampaşa Mayor Atila Aydıner. İmamoğlu said, “I sincerely thank our elder brother, our esteemed President, for his cooperation and working culture in solidarity that he has shown so far. Saying that we will try every way to solve the problems of the citizens and to act together, Aydıner said, “The important projects that will be opened by our President are projects that will really touch our people. It is also meaningful for us to carry out such projects that touch our people, young people and children.” The central building, which was opened to the use of citizens, was built on the former Bayrampaşa Prison land, which was demolished and converted into an urban transformation area.

As part of the "150 works in 150 days" marathon, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) opened the İsmet Paşa Life Center, Muratpaşa Indoor Swimming Pool and Underground Parking Lot in Bayrampaşa. At the opening ceremony; IMM President Ekrem İmamoğlu and Bayrampaşa Mayor Atila Aydıner made speeches. İmamoğlu started his speech by commemorating 13 of our citizens who lost their lives in the terrorist attack on Istiklal Street on November 6, and said, “My condolences to all of us. We are sad as a nation. As a nation, we grieve for our losses. We also pray for healing for our wounded. However, in these times, as Istanbul residents, we all have an important task together. Together we will protect our city. There is an important issue where Istanbul stands for solidarity, hope, brotherhood and peace, not only within itself, but also with the message it gives to the world. In this sense, the world is watching Istanbul. Whatever Istanbul is doing, it acts accordingly. We will join hands for him; we will protect our country, our unity and our brotherhood stronger together. Together, we will embrace life even more.”

“THE MOST IMPORTANT IS WHAT SERVICE YOU PROVIDE IN THE BUILDING”

Emphasizing that as IMM, they work with the understanding of producing together, making people's lives easier and creating social benefit, İmamoğlu said, “Believe me, we use our budget for this purpose. The new function we have brought in İsmet Paşa Life Center is the most concrete examples of this approach. When the project is mentioned, only construction is understood. Many people look at the process somewhat like this. However, the most important thing is what service you provide inside the building. It is about how the building functions and what benefits it provides to the people in its immediate surroundings in a positive way and at the optimum level. In this respect, we prioritize thinking, worrying and producing solutions accordingly while producing work with this aspect. That is why each of our movements turns into valuable meeting points and valuable projects.”

THANKS FROM İMAMOĞLU TO BAYRAMPAŞA MAYOR AYDINER

Emphasizing that the Regional Employment Office, Institute Istanbul İSMEK, Yuvamiz Istanbul and Neighborhood House, located in the center, will serve in a way that is the product of these understandings, İmamoğlu added to their "giant project" understanding, "A giant project does not become a giant with just a structural giantness or size. We will continue to be a management that produces solutions to the processes by understanding the state of the citizens, worrying about their problems," he clarified with his words. Emphasizing that the centers they opened belong to the people of Istanbul, İmamoğlu said, “I would like to thank our esteemed Mayor of Bayrampaşa, Mr. Atila, for his kindness and speech. I also told them; locally, people's needs assessments are stronger. In this sense, our coordination unit and consultants we have established, of course, meet some of the needs they foresee in this neighborhood or in different neighborhoods, through our managers. But we would like to bring to Bayrampaşa the different services that it envisages us to do. In this sense, I sincerely thank our elder brother and our esteemed President for the cooperation and solidarity working culture he has shown so far.”

“WE ARE MAKING A GREAT CHANGE AT ISTANBUL BUS”

Stating that they have completely renovated the existing sports facility with new designs and added an underground car park for 200 vehicles to Bayrampaşa, İmamoğlu brought the word to the Great Istanbul Bus Terminal within the borders of Bayrampaşa district. Saying, “We are experiencing a really big change at the Istanbul Bus Terminal,” İmamoğlu said, “Recently, on one of our national holidays, when he met the students of a school in Bayrampaşa, we said, 'My President, thank you. We were afraid to pass by. They said, 'Now we are going there to study, with the goal of gaining university. Because there is a library now. There is a theatre. We have a sparkling bus station with many services. In this sense, we are proud of making this place beneficial for Istanbul. I also wish that Bayrampaşa will be used more effectively and that this area, which has turned its back on the neighborhood, turns its face to its neighborhood, and that my fellow citizens of Bayrampaşa will host it.”

“Let's so-called 'TOGETHER, EMBRACE; IT CANNOT BE SAYING 'YOU ARE BROTHERS'…”

Noting that due to their management approach, they work in an egalitarian manner, without discrimination and open to cooperation with every institution, İmamoğlu said:

“Because, as we are preparing to enter the 100th anniversary of our Republic, as public administrators, we should never stay away from coming together, working together, producing together. Otherwise, the so-called 'Let's unite, embrace; This does not mean 'we are brothers'. That is, it is imperative that this issue be resolved at the executive level. In this context; In terms of management ethics and management philosophy, we will never give up on this path. We will try every way to act together to solve the problems of the citizens. We; We know that democratic maturity, respect for citizens, love of the country, love of the country, love of the nation and love of the citizen are very important. The republic is a system of government where the rulers must know their limits. In other words, the rulers will know their limits and that they serve the citizens. No manager can have the understanding of 'I know, what I say is true, I do it'. In this sense, I would like to reiterate from here that we are highly moral and motivated at the point of serving Istanbul very strongly with these concepts that the Republic has taught us.”

Emphasizing that the inaugurated center is an important place, Bayrampaşa Mayor Aydıner expressed his feelings with the following words:

“We just talked to our President Mr. This place needs to come into action very quickly. For this reason, our President also opens 5 important offices here, enabling our people to come here in a much more comfortable way. Hopefully, together, we will carry out the filling of other shops in various ways and making this place a center of life. We will do our best to help Mr. President. First of all, I would like to thank him in your presence for the very important projects he has brought to our Bayrampaşa. On behalf of my people, I thank you. Especially important projects under this living center here, which will be opened by our esteemed President, are projects that will really touch our people. It is also meaningful for us to carry out such projects that touch our people, our people, young people and children. Likewise, the fact that there is a swimming pool and a car park under it is very, very important for Bayrampaşa. In that respect, I would like to thank him in your presence for bringing these important projects to Bayrampaşa. I pray to Almighty God that these facilities will bring goodness to our Bayrampaşa, Istanbul and especially our country.”

In the life center of IMM in Bayrampaşa; Regional Employment Office, Institute Istanbul İSMEK, Our Home Istanbul and Neighborhood House will serve.
