President Büyükkılıç Conducted First Test of New Buses

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç announced that 12 high-capacity articulated buses purchased by the Metropolitan Municipality for more comfortable and safe transportation have begun to be delivered. President Büyükkılıç also carried out the first test drive of the articulated buses, which impress with their comfort and technology, in a closed area to traffic.

Metropolitan Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç continues to implement his projects with the aim of carrying Kayseri to better points in the field of transportation, as in every other field.

Adding 18 new articulated buses with a length of 12 meters to its transportation fleet, the Metropolitan Municipality offers high-capacity, comfortable, disabled-friendly buses to the service of the people of Kayseri, which it has started to include in its transportation fleet.

PRESIDENT BÜYÜKKILIÇ TESTED FIRST

In this context, examining the two-articulated bus received in the first place, Metropolitan Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç took the wheel in the traffic-free area and tested the buses.

Stating that the new buses are more useful and more comfortable, Mayor Büyükkılıç said, “We are speeding up our services in transportation. While we are constantly increasing the efficiency of our transportation system, we are also expanding our transportation fleet.”

Büyükkılıç wished the new buses to be beneficial and said, “Thanks to our transportation fleet, which has become stronger with our new buses, our citizens will be able to receive service more comfortably. We aim to provide more comfortable service to our passengers with high-capacity, disabled-friendly, technological buses. Good luck with our new buses to our city," he said.

To the President Büyükkılıç, Deputy Secretary General Bayar Özsoy, Transportation A.Ş. General Manager Mehmet Canbulut and the heads of departments were also accompanied.
