Announcing the start of the silage corn harvest, grown in Gölbaşı's Agriculture Campus, on his social media accounts, ABB President Mansur Yavaş said, "We want Ankara to produce, Ankara to win."

The rural development move initiated by Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş, who said, “My biggest dream is to make the people of Ankara rich”, continues to diversify with each passing day.

Announcing the start of the silage corn harvest planted by the Rural Services Department within the scope of the Ankara Development Project (BAKAP), Yavaş used the following statements on his social media accounts:

“We have started the harvest of the corn silage we grow in our Agriculture Campus in Gölbaşı. We distribute the products we obtain to our female producers dealing with animal husbandry and to small family businesses with a 100% grant. We want the people of Ankara to produce and the people of Ankara to win.”

It will be distributed with a 100 percent grant.

The silage corn planted on approximately 200 decares of land will be distributed with a 100 percent grant in order to ensure that female animal breeders and small family businesses do not break away from production and to support them economically.

Stating that they will continue the projects that support rural development in the capital, Rural Services Department Agricultural Engineer Volkan Dinçer said the following about the corn silage harvest at BAKAP Agriculture Campus in Gölbaşı Karaoğlan District:

“We harvested the Hungarian vetch and wheat mixtures that we planted as the first crop in our BAKAP land. Now we are harvesting corn silage as the second crop. This harvest will also be distributed to small family businesses and women producers. We will continue to support our producers in this way due to the price increase of roughage and input costs.”

The Rural Services Department aims to contribute to the economy of the farmers by distributing the corn silages, which are collected and baled for use in animal husbandry, to women producers and small family businesses, whose list will be created within a month, free of charge.
