Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) celebrates 24 November Teachers' Day with different campaigns. In this context; Teachers with a Digital Teacher Card defined in Istanbulkart Mobile will be able to travel free of charge all day. Teachers and their first-degree relatives will be able to visit the museums within the IMM at a discount. Teachers will receive a 25 percent discount on selected books at the Istanbul Bookstore.
As November 24 Teachers' Day approaches, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) and its affiliates welcome this day with a series of gifts. With BELBİM A.Ş.'s campaign, teachers will be able to travel free of charge all day on 24 November. If teachers who have a Digital Teacher Card defined in Istanbulkart Mobile make a QR code payment on Marmaray, metro, metrobus, bus and city lines on November 24, tolls will be refunded to their Digital Teacher Cards. No matter how many passes teachers make during the day, there will be no limit to the free pass.
25 PERCENT DISCOUNT FROM ISTANBUL LIBRARY
A 24 percent discount will be applied on selected books between 21-27 November, special for the 25 November Teachers' Day, at the Istanbul Bookstore branches. Another campaign is IMM subsidiary Kültür A.Ş. It will be valid in museums. Special discounts for teachers and their first degree relatives will be applied between 1453-21 November, special for Teachers' Day in museums such as Yerebatan Cistern, Şerefiye Cistern, Miniatürk, Panorama 27 History Museum.
The IMM Health Department, on the other hand, will make a special celebration for the residents of the Darülaceze, who have previously taught, and the employees who teach at the Darülaceze. Teachers' Day will be celebrated by cutting a cake for teachers and accompanied by live music.
